my 1st teachers' day @ 2:35 PM
show you guys my 2 fav classes. my sec 3s
& my sec 1s.
i gave farewell tidbits to all my 3 classes though... my sec 3s are really interested in going to my wedding next year. hahah... we shall see, i dun mind inviting to the ROM reception. my sec 1s, they were lovely. they gave me a very big cardboard with their messages on it.. (will be in the picture later). lots of home-baked cookies and cupcakes, chocolates, sweet, pens & a winnie the pooh softtoy (i really like it a lot)... thanks you girls! you girls made my stay at st. margs worthwhile...then d' joined me and my colleagues for a good buffet lunch @ Pariss marina square.
hahah my first oyster! it was good~~ thanks Mr. Teng teng teng. for converting me! we had a real good time.... my very very nice colleagues... thank you for making life at St. marg fun-filled and enjoyable. staff room 2 rockSsS!anyway, these are my gifts.
much compared to the other teachers. but it shows i am appreciated in the school by kids and it really means a lot :)

my students are very sweet... the sec 1s made a big big card for me... really touched. :)
will miss all of them.. the naughty ones, the pleasant ones.
i still have 2 stacks of letter-writing & composition to mark. there goes the break~~ *sulk* but i only have myself to blame. i mark too slowly because i find marking such assignments very very tedious...
ok i shall get back to work.
*i wanna get Pop Up! SMAP concert dvd! even if it costs 102 bucks*

3 girls decided it was time to explore sentosa, especially the underwaterworld last monday... :) it was really fun-filled. i had a great time with the girls from 10am to 10pm! haha... we seldom do that nowadays but it was really good time spent...!
take a look at the photos, shall we? a total of 150 or more were taken. haha ps & jeanie had their candid photos taken by me quite a few times..
it was THAT sunny and hot.
i don't know where did that courage come from. must be the viking 2 days before. my guts have increased tremendously... the head was with me! i had to hold it.. and it kept trying to fidget and turn....
and violet got scared...

but lessons still gotta continue for this & next week. last 2 weeks with the girls... can't bear to part with them. my sec 1s were sooooOOOooOooo quiet today... they looked down... but rather good for delivering a teacher-centred lesson. :)
bought the gifts for my 3 nice nice nice CTs and also the food for the girls. shall shop for the chocs for the entire school staff this coming weekend.
just a question, have you ever encountered such an incident whereby you feel so strongly that someone doesn't want to see you?? well, i did. no joke. d' & i could feel it. hahaha... we just hecked it.
happy..relaxed... i can watch my CHANGE dvd now~ bought it on saturday... takuya kimura!!

long weekend @ 8:26 AM
thanks to you i had a long wonderful weekend!
school ended at 1030 on friday and i stayed back for a good game of badminton with colleagues in the hall. yahh sweat like mad in my red & white combi outfit that day. i will bring my sports gear this friday! played in slippers.. haha cool eh. then with my nice colleagues, we went for good lunch at crystal jade holland v, followed by ice cream at swensen's.
went to IKEA with darlie in the night. i love going IKEA with dear. it's like planning what to get for our new house, getting some ideas for our renovation.. :) and it's really nice that we have similar ideas....
then it was saturday when dear & i went to escape themepark with my cousin & friends because we had free tickets. i nearly died during viking. it's proven, i can't sit at the last row. i refrained from shouting and my heart couldn't take it. i had to scream. i think i gave dear a bad fright with my pale face. haha then i had the most enjoyable INVERTER ride. my first time playing that ride that turns 360 degrees and suspend you inverted in the middle of the air! my cousin's friend was super funny and entertaining larh. i screamed till i teared the first time but i laughed so hard i teared the second time. her friend was THAT funny.
we rushed off to get the groceries done for potluck that evening at ryan's. we made wonderful salad~ haha i mean it k. put in lots of effort this time. i have had enough humiliation from ryan goh. anyway, look at the food we have that night! i would call it a banquet...

the guys were planning to join us for roller blading the next day (sunday) but we went to the wedding extravaganza on sunday afternoon. it was at marina square and yep we have signed up for a package with thomson wedding d'sign ;) within our budget. just nice....wedding bands? checked.
wedding gowns, suits, photography and flowers? checked
banquet? to be settled real soon.
things are happy again in my family! haha... weddingS.

long long long long post on food!!! @ 8:54 PM
but! just another 3 weeks to go.. 3 wks to my leaving st. margaret's. but i hope to go back as well. the girls now wave at me, or call out 'Hi laoshi!'... i'm treated well there... my chinese dept is so nice. and of course xinyi & juliana are there to chat with me.
this week has been so much easier... less work...YAY! mr low has taken his lessons back for his observation this week. no lessons on friday and day ends early! like 10.30am.. then holiday on monday! gonna meet up with NIE friends... it's carousel time again!! wahhaha...
this sunday i'm going to marina square with dear for the wedding couple roadshow thing. we did not go for the NATAs fair last sunday because we decided not to go anywhere already. gotta start planning for the whole event and also do the curtains!! haha project curtain has been dragged on for far too long...
okie happenings over the past 2 weeks!
26th july~
dimsum buffet @ ecp Tung Lok. a very very good one. service was excellent and food was great. suppose to be a birthday gathering for ry and joe but joe did not turn up. so it was another celebration for me. the july babies. we were too full to eat the cake at the restaurant so we went to ry's plc to eat it. at the restaurant, i ate for 2hours non-stop. yes. i mean non-stop. whenever i want a break, ryan will go 'dun stop, eat buffet cannot stop one. your stomach will send signal to ur brain that u're full"... yahhh that's why i nearly puked. hahah. but d' and i agreed mabbe it's better to go for ala carte...since we can't eat 25 dollars worth of dimsum anyway.

27 julyplanned to go ktv with my girls but one went US one had sore throat. so in the end, june, ps & i went to Dome Cafe at dempsey hill for our lovely brunch! lovely! i want more brunch gatherings... not so much of dinner ald!! seem healthier...it's at least better to gorge yourself earlier than in the night mahh. hurhur

us @ dempsey!! our first time there as a group. when can we try out margarita's food together?? hee.. when we fill our pockets are too full i guess.look. here are the japanese foodies i've eaten over these 2 weeks. super yummy and cute. all thanks to sis who just came back from Osaka! i love my new camera.. close up shots at objects...no problem at all now! do look for these when you go japan!!
